Food Is Medicine
Spicewell was born from a simple realization: many of us want to eat healthier, but healthy choices shouldn't require complicated routines or major lifestyle changes.
Our founder, Raina Kumra Gardiner, grew up with Ayurveda and learned from her mother and grandmother that the spice drawer could be an important part of everyday wellness. After experiencing significant health challenges within her family, she returned to that philosophy and began exploring how nutrition, plants, spices, and food could play a greater role in daily life.
That journey led to Spicewell.
We started with a simple idea: what if the foods we already use every day could provide a little more nutrition?

Our New Salt features pink Himalayan salt with reduced sodium, while our New Pepper combines pepper, turmeric, and plant-based vitamins and minerals.
