Our Story
My Metal Rescue began with two very special dogs: Marley and Daisy.
Our founder, Brandon, spent time with them during the holidays when he was away from work and was inspired by their unique personalities and distinctive appearances.
He wanted to create something that would capture their likeness in a lasting and artistic way.
After experimenting with designs and choosing Corten steel for its unique weathering properties, the first Metal Rescue silhouette was created.
Friends and family loved the idea and began asking for silhouettes of their own dogs.
That positive response eventually led Brandon to open the My Metal Rescue shop in the spring of 2020.
What began as a personal project quickly became a business built around a simple idea:
Celebrate the dogs we love while helping dogs in need.
Made to Last
We use premium weathering steel, also known as Corten steel, to create our silhouettes.
One of the things that makes Corten steel special is the way it changes over time. As the metal develops its natural rust-colored patina, each piece becomes increasingly unique.
Rather than simply aging, the material develops a distinctive appearance that gives every silhouette its own character.
Our designs are also available in other finishes, including black and special-edition options, allowing you to choose a style that works perfectly for your space.

We're proud to design and create our products in-house in the United States.
Our team pays close attention to the details of every silhouette, from the recognizable characteristics of different breeds to the quality and durability of the metal itself.
From the first design concept to the finished piece, we strive to create artwork that dog lovers can proudly display for years to come.

We also offer custom silhouettes for customers who want to create something especially personal.

Giving Back to Dog Rescues
Helping dogs doesn't stop with creating beautiful metal art.
Our Rescue of the Month program is one of the most important parts of our mission.
Each month, we partner with a dog rescue organization and donate $5 from every silhouette sold on our website directly to that rescue.
With the support of our customers, we've been able to donate more than $40,000 to help animals in need.
Every purchase can therefore do more than celebrate one dog.
It can help another dog find care, safety, and a second chance.
