Our Story
Mindful & Modern was founded by Felipe, Steph, and Nick—three independent business owners who met in Thailand and quickly became friends.
As entrepreneurs, we understood firsthand how demanding and stressful modern life could be. When we were introduced to meditation, we discovered how powerful the practice could be as a way to create balance and bring more calm into our everyday lives.
As our own meditation practices grew, we began searching for products that could support them.
We found that many meditation products were designed primarily for very spiritual or traditional audiences. While we respected those approaches, we wanted something different: products that felt contemporary, beautiful, approachable, and natural in a modern home.
That idea became Mindful & Modern.
Designed in Chiang Mai
Chiang Mai, Thailand is where our story began and where our products continue to be designed.
Inspired by the city's rich culture, craftsmanship, and connection to mindfulness, we set out to create meditation goods that respect the tradition of meditation while fitting naturally into contemporary lifestyles.
