Our Story
Friendship Lamps began with a deeply personal idea. Founder John Harrison, an engineer, artist, and musician, wanted an effortless way to stay connected with family members living far apart. In 2014, he created the very first Friendship Lamps as a Christmas gift, allowing each family member to send a silent message simply by touching a lamp.
The heartfelt response inspired John and his wife, Vanessa, to turn that idea into a company dedicated to helping people maintain meaningful relationships through technology that feels warm, simple, and human. Today, Friendship Lamps continues to design products that transform everyday moments into lasting memories.
