Our Story
Our story began in Montréal, Canada, in 1986.
Chemist Moty Cohen and his wife, Liliane, began developing science-driven haircare for professional salons and stylists. Their work eventually became the foundation of Oligo Professionnel, a company built around professional hair colour and haircare innovation.
Over the years, generations of the family continued to develop that expertise.
Today, Blacklight Blonde Science represents the next evolution of that legacy—bringing decades of professional formulation experience beyond the salon and directly into the hands of people who want better care for their blonde hair.

Our REP collection uses ceramide NG alongside chickpea, lentil, and quinoa extracts and nourishing oils to help reinforce the hair's structure and restore softness and resilience.

NEU — Neutralize
Brassiness is one of the biggest challenges for blonde hair.
Our NEU collection uses precision colourants to help neutralize unwanted yellow and orange tones while incorporating hydrating ingredients such as squalane, açai, moringa, and argan oil.

We don't simply put our name on someone else's formula.
Our Montréal headquarters houses our own chemistry laboratory and manufacturing facility, allowing us to research, formulate, test, and produce our products in-house.
