Our Story
BDY Fajas was born from real experience, not theory.
Founder and Chief Designer Diana Wright, known as The Faja Doctor, spent years navigating plastic surgery recovery herself and working directly with women who needed better-fitting compression garments.
Through The Faja Doctor, Diana professionally altered more than 10,000 fajas. That hands-on experience revealed the same problems again and again: traditional garments often had poor waist-to-hip proportions, inadequate lower-abdominal coverage, uncomfortable torso lengths, and compression placed in areas where it wasn't needed.
Instead of accepting those limitations, Diana decided to create something different.
BDY was developed from that experience — taking what works, fixing what doesn't, and creating a compression system designed around real bodies and real fit challenges.

Surgical Insight
BDY's development has been informed by surgical expertise as well as extensive faja fit experience.
The brand collaborated with Dr. Ramsen Azizi, a double board-certified plastic surgeon and body-contouring specialist, to bring clinical insight into the development of BDY compression garments.
This combination of surgical knowledge and hands-on garment expertise allows us to approach compression from a different perspective.
We're interested not only in how a faja looks, but also in how compression is distributed, where support is needed, and how the garment interacts with the body.

Meet Diana Wright
Founder & Chief Designer — The Faja Doctor
Diana Wright is the founder of The Faja Doctor and the creator and Chief Designer of BDY Fajas.
Her expertise comes from personal transformation, post-surgical experience, and years of working directly with women and their compression garments.
After professionally altering more than 10,000 fajas, Diana developed a deep understanding of the relationship between garment construction, body shape, compression, and comfort.
That experience became the foundation of BDY.
Her philosophy is simple: if a problem repeatedly appears in traditional fajas, it should be solved rather than accepted.
